Rules and Guidelines
Guidelines for posting In the Artwork Section of this Forum:
As these forums and community evolve, these rules may evolve and be changed at any time. It is the responsibility of each member to know them. Warnings will be given first by pointing individuals to read these rules. After that things get less than fun for all involved
1. Post Original Appropriate Artwork:
Please post artwork that is your own or you have contributed to in some way. If the artwork you are posting is a collab piece, please tell us who contributed and on which parts (i.e. penciler, inker, colorist) so we can enjoy and give credit where it is due.
This message board is also rated PG-13. Please refrain from directly posting images with nudity, excessive violence/gore and other associated material into the thread. Please host the image(s) on another site and then list a link to that image.
2. Clearly State Intentions for Posting Artwork:
It is assumed that if you post artwork that you are looking for input and critiques on the artwork you are posting. However, some people post simply for gratification and to share things they are proud of, looking for 'oohs' and 'aahs' only. Some people are looking for specific critiques on certain technical issues or mediums. Others are making announcments of finishing what they've been working on, revealing their labor. If you are NOT looking for critiques on your artwork, YOU need to specify in your initial post.
3. Giving Critiques on Artwork:
Here at Outcast Studios we strive for two things above all else; a great community of people that love the comic medium, and a place where artists can grow and be encouraged. Part of doing so means giving honest and reasonable opinions of an artists abilities concerning the artwork they post. Please do so in a constructive, non-aggressive, non-attacking, good-spirited way. This way the critiques will be heard and not thrown aside by hurt feelings or mis-understanding. If a Moderator feels critiques in a particular case could be handled differently, they will request so through either a warning in the thread in question, or by PM.
4. Responding to Critiques on Artwork:

Part of doing so means giving honest and reasonable opinions of an artists abilities concerning the artwork they post. Please do so in a constructive, non-aggressive, non-attacking, good-spirited way that's specific to what the artist is looking to hear about. 5. Flame Posting:
Flame posting is when an arguement breaks out and post after post is a battle of words that begin to be disrespectful of other board members. These won't be tolerated. Community and growth do not come out of flames. People can disagree all they want, but it must be done respectibly. In public there is freedom of speech, this is a private forum that wants to hear peoples opinions in a constructive and positive way. The Moderators and Site Administrators reserve the right to delete or move posts, ask people to cease their flaming or ban people for continued flaming.
