Invincible (Mark Grayson) is a superhero in the Image Comics Universe. Created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Cory Walker, the character first appeared in Tech Jacket #1 (October 2002), before graduating to his own self-titled regular series in 2003, as a title in Image's then-new superhero line.

Invincible is the teenage son of Omni-Man, an extraterrestrial superhero of the Viltrumite race. Invincible inherited his father’s superhuman strength and ability to fly and he has sworn to protect the Earth. He has had trouble adjusting to his newfound powers and coping with the reality of his origins. As the story arcs continue to unfold we’ve seen Mark tasked with dealing with a wide variety of issues and challenges in the life of both his superhero and alter egos. Many of these situations are what make this series so dear to Invincible fans. No matter who the reader is, many of us can relate to any number of themes and subtext contained within the pages.

Invincible possesses considerable superhuman strength and the ability to fly, but the true extent of his powers is still unknown. Being a hybrid, and not a pure Viltrumite, his power limits appear to be expanding as he continues to push his body further.

Deadline: Tuesday 04, 2012 at 2pm ET (U.S.)

Isn't Robert Kirkman the writer for Walking Dead and also Haunt? Is he a co creator of Haunt?

Or am I confused?

I believe he's had a hand in a lot of Image properties including Haunt, Walking Dead and Invincible too.
He's a very busy man! Lol

Super Dinosaur, Battle Pope, Astounding Wolf-Man.... you name it!
He sure keeps himself busy :P
And I love how he covers a wide genre of comics, not just your usual superheroes.

Been a while, sorry about that--it's been a mix of being sick and, frankly, wasn't too enthused on drawing WOW stuff.

POPULAR

Had an idea to draw a shirt my friend has with Leia as Rosie the Riveter for the weekend poster idea. So I had Star Wars on the brain :)

aeryk, that was pretty clever. +1 Rep point for doing a little more and setting up a pretty cool idea.

I'm going to call this one a wrap, and maybe even today's challenge too since no one seems to want to draw that topic.
