XD haha cute. I am unfortunately not a gamer so I'm with Yncke in that I missed the punchline but I can appreciate the humor. And Ronin dude if you got any more comics post 'em! I love your artwork period and haven't seen much of ya around here!

yeah just been real busy doing nothing purposeful in my life. I'm about to move back to florida to be with my kids, and life just kinda been standing on my neck for this whole time. I'm ready to deep fry my fingers and get a job doing something as meaningless as I feel right at the moment.. suffice to say.. i'm in a bit of a slump artistically constipated and all..

Explanation of the cartoon for non gamers.. in this game you kill dragons, and bandits and whatever.. you go into houses, etc.. you can pick up a ton of loot to sell off to merchants. As you progress, you gather stuff.. and eventually you get assigned a 'housecarl' which is the city's way of thanking you for killing the dragon, saving their city, etc.. she/he can carry stuff for you which ultimately doubles your loot carrying ability.. the bad part is, depending on which housecarl you get, their attitudes are a little different about carrying your crap.. Lydia, the first one most people get, says " I am sworn to carry your burdens" in a tone that depicts disrespect and makes you really feel like she don't want to be your mule.. EVERY time you ask her to hold something for you, you have to hear that statement.. after a while, you want to stab her.. the upside is she fights really good, and if you want, you can always save another city and get another housecarl and fire Lydia. After a while of constant 'here hold this'.. it grates so bad you just want to smother her with a dragon carcass...everyone i know has had this feeling about Lydia and her malcontented passive aggresive attitude about serving...

Awe dude :C art slumps suck and they are maddening to deal with. I went through one a while back after I got down sick with the creeping crud and it about drove me nuts. But the positive side of it is if you can weather one, nine times out of ten, you can come out the other side and start IMPROVING like crazy. So yeah you gotta go easy on yourself and keep pushing forward, that's the best remedy I know for getting back in the groove. Fall back on doing figure sketches, doodles, something that will hone the skills or oil the gears. Set some goals for yourself to meet daily if that's possible. good luck Ronin and don't give up
