Alright, so I already had a previous HEROES! thread, but like I noticed there, it was barely kept updated, some strips were posted twice and there wasn't any order... In one word it was incomprehensible.
I would like to take this occasion, with our forum boards behind all cleaned, redesigned and shiny new to start all over from scratch.

Don't worry, I'll go faster this time around.

Hey gals and guys!

I would like to start posting here some of my own webcomics parodies I've been doing for this past year (or so).

Let's start with a quick introduction and then some of my first comic strips!

So first things first.
My (pen)name's Eyz. I'm a graphic designer, comic book fan and live in Switzerland.

Okay, enough boring stuff about me. Now what are we waiting for?

HEROES! is a little webcomic series I started first on deviantArt, that I moved over this blog (without as much success I gotta tell ya) and is now also released on this website with some other friends' own comic strips.
I'm not advertising anything here, I don't make any money with this, it's just for fun!

HEROES! are the way I call my various DC and Marvel parodies.
They might not be "professional" or hilarious, but I started making those because some characters I like haven't that well portrayed in modern comics and I wanted to share my luv for 'em and have fun while at it :'3
I'm currently working my way through the strips I call "Season 2". So let's start from the beginning for the Outcast Studios! Here's the first ones I did originally.



Archers!
He is Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow. Superhero of Star City.
The other is Roy Harper aka Speedy, the red arrow! The sidekick!
This is Archers! A parody comic strip series about the dynamic archer duo!

Yeah, I like making some mock-up covers, gets me motivated to continue these
And here's my first comic strips, before I decided to cover more characters and create more "sub-series". (if you like 'em, I'll post more of those!)

Let's continue were we left yesterday already, here's another installment of Heroes!

This time I would like to introduce you to another one of my Heroes-subseries, SuperBuddies!
Which is my own way to both parody and serve as a tribute to my favorite iteration of the Justice League, ever! (the DeMatteis/Giffen/Maguire series)

Here's the mock-up cover I did originally:

This was the original roster I had in mind for these new comic strips, though depending on the strip I might add new characters from time to time.

Here's some of the few early SuperBuddies! I did, including a special "issue zero" I made on the request of a blogger friend.

It's time for yet another installment of Heroes!



This time I'd like to take this occasion to introduce to you guys yet another Heroes! sub-series,called Lanterns!
Which is exactly what you might think, a Green Lantern centric series.

Here's yet another mock-up cover I did for fun:

Lanterns!They're Cops. Intergalactic space cops.
Protecting and enforcing the law in the 3600 “sectors” of the universe.

Somewhat inspired by an actual story as depicted by Giffen, DeMatteis & Maguire in a real DC Comics for once. (I can't believe this is not...)
I always loved those two's relation, they're quite fun characters!

Drawing the whole Titans gang... It makes this Archers! series looks a pale imitation of Art Baltazar' Tiny Titans...

A lot of fun stuff here. I really dig the style and think there has been a lot of improvement as you go. Do you find you are getting more into the 'groove' of it as you progress?

Probably, I do get the characters more naturally in my current strips (compared to my humble beginnings...not that it got that much better honestly, but it rolls a bit easier now)

These comic strips above are still the ones from last year! (notice the 2010 on them, I only recut/edited them slight at the beginning of the year, thus the "2010-11")

I launched GreatLakesHeroes! because like someone told me on deviantArt (where I used to originally post those) I was only making DC ones, and since the Great Lakes Avengers X-men Defenders Initiative are my favorite bunch of super heroes on that side...

So without further redo here's yet another mock-up cover.
