-When does Live Draw Nite start and how long does it go for? .....on Sunday, May 29th 2011,
12pm to 4pm Pacific Standard Time (North America).
look below for your local time zone, or a zone close to you....

East Coast (North America)- 3pm

Central (North America)- 2pm

Pacific Coast ( North America)- 12pm

London- 8pm

Paris- a little after 9pm

Athens- about 10:20pm

Hawaii- 9am

Tokyo- 4am May 30th

Hong Kong- 3am May 30th

Calcutta- 12:30am May 30th

Bahrain- 10pm

- What do I need to start?.....basically 4 things...

1) Be a member at Outcast Studios. That's where our event takes place....right in the Live Draw Nite Forum on our main page. If you're not a member, sign up now! it's free and easy to do....just ask any of your DA friends, a whole bunch of you people are already members here's the link http://outcaststudios.com/forums/

2) Have access to a scanner, digital camera....or be able to draw directly on your computer. In short, have any way to get your art on to the internet.

3) Anything with internet access, of course, duhhhhhh.....

4) A good attitude! LDN is all about fun....just hanging out with some cool people sketching the day away......it's not about drawing perfectly or competing with anyone. Leave your miserable , perfectionist attitudes at home and cut loose!

A pretty short FAQ, huh.....that's because LDN is so simple!~ :)

If you have any more questions just ask.....

What is the most distinctive look you’ve seen on a comic book character?

or

What character do you have the most fun drawing?

For me, I would say that I have the most fun drawing Wonder Woman. The character that I think has a pretty unique/distinctive look is Captain America. In my opinion he truly looks like an walking American Flag, but it doesn't come off as tacky as it sounds.

Awesome. I wasn't able to make the last one because of my job, but I should be able to drop in for a few hours on this one.

My favorite character to draw has always been Darkness from the movie Legend.

I think one of the more unique looks for a character from a comic book is Mojo of X-Men/Longshot fame.

Most distinctive character...Night Crawler.

All great characters! Marv and Darkness (from the Movie Legends) are both guys I would not want to run into in a dark alley.... or well lighted one either for that matter. I can see how both of them could be fun to draw.

Mojo and Night Crawler both have some very distinguished looks. No matter who draws them, animation or print, you cannot mistake these fellas! B)

I would have to say that it's Superman for me... big surprise! LOL I'm still trying to give that distinctive look for him that I feel is SUPERMAN and Clark Kent at the same time. When I hit it, oh.... you'll know.

I also have an affection for drawing Wonder Woman due to the affection that my wife has for the character too. I try to draw my wife's face on WW, as she is MY Wonder Woman. Yes, I'm a softie.

My daughter, Sienna likes Supergirl, and I like drawing Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) modeled after her as a young girl. My other daughter Sarah is our lil Superbaby. I've got to draw all those characters before I leave here, cause I doubt I'll have time when I get back. LOL

I suppose my favorite characters to draw would be Daredevil, Ronin, John Constantine, and Marv (though I never drew existing characters until I started with the daily sketch a week ago, thus I'm not quite sure about my answer).
Also, seeing that the question didn't concern superheroes only, I'd also love to draw Corto Maltese, Horus (from Bilal's Carnival of Immortals), and Manji from Blade of the Immortal :)

Izitmee: Those are some good choices. The link that you are looking for is at the top of the Live Draw Nite forum in a sub-forum called LDN Archive... you can find them in there or just follow this link ...HERE!.

These LDNs are all in good fun, and I hope that you like what you see.

Uh, I feel so dumb that now I'd like to add Homer Simpson and a DOH! to the characters to draw. Totally didn't notice that link :o Thanks Furious :)
